<p class="Paragraph">This is where you can manually edit the column width of all columns in the table. To find out how to alter the width of columns by using the mouse and the keyboard without calling up a special dialog, click this link: <help:embedded Id="67662" Eid="tabelle_tastatur"/>.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">When you mark this check box, the width of each column in the table can be modified without affecting the other columns.</help:help-text> This check box is only active when on the <span class="T1">Table</span> tab page, <span class="T1">Manual</span> alignment is selected.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Mark this check box to adjust all columns in the table by the same value.</help:help-text> The width of the individual columns remains proportionally the same in relation to the whole width of the table. This check box is only active when on the <span class="T1">Table</span> tab page, <span class="T1">Manual</span> alignment is selected.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">This display field shows the space still available for adjusting the width of the columns. The space available is dependent on the total width which can be set on the <span class="T1">Table</span> tab.</help:help-text></p>

<p class="Paragraph">This area shows the active column width. You can change the width here. If the table contains more than six columns, you can use the arrow keys to display columns that are hidden.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Use the <help:popup Id="65630" Eid="drehfeld">spin buttons</help:popup> to specify a new column width for each of the columns.</help:help-text> Changes to the width of a column almost always effect the width of the following column. Changes to the last column effect the first column in the table. Exceptions can be made when the <span class="T1">Adapt table width</span> check box is marked. This way, every column can be altered independantly from another.</p>
